Knights of Columbus Council #8891 was founded in 1985 on the idea of helping those in need. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest. Our Council serves the parish of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Freedom, PA., the local Southern York County area, and the Diocese of Harrisburg. We have provided manpower and have donated funds to the Special Olympics of PA, the Southern York County Food and Clothing Bank, New Life Center Home for Women and Children, the Lourdeshouse Pregnancy Center of Harrisburg, and many other local, regional and statewide charities.
Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the world - in serving God and doing His Will. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. With Council #8891, the old saying holds true: You get out of it what you put into it!
